She has played at venues such as: Sin-e, the Living Room, the Knitting Factory, CBGB's Gallery, the Parkside Lounge, the C-Note, the Sidewalk Cafe, Iggy's, Meow Mix, the Elbow Room and the Bitter End.

In October 2002, Siobhan released her first album, titled "Permanent Markers", produced by Steve Rossiter at Axis Sound. In the years since, she has promoted the album and played throughout the NYC area.

In September 2005, Siobhan signed with the new NYC-based label, Blue Cocoon. Currently, she is recording her second album with Steve Rossiter once again. She wrote numerous songs in the past three years, particularly ones written on thepiano and banjo, that will figure prominently on the new album.

Siobhan's musical career was a bit of an accident. Theatre was her first love. But then she picked up a guitar right after college and has been physically unable to put it down. With her unique sound and smart lyrics, Siobhan O'Malley is one artist to watch.

Siobhan O'Malley took the New York City music scene by the lapels and hasn't looked back since! Her music is a constantly morphing mix of pop, country, folk, rock and blues. Her lyrics are often funny and/or poignant and/or witty. From the desolation as described in "The Fundy Bay Forecast" to the humorous dress-up story as described in "Slips My Mind", Siobhan's lyrics run the gamut.
